How to Pay for EPMs Services: Everything You Need to Know

July 23, 20253 min read

At EPM, we believe in making property care simple, stress-free, and transparent—starting with how you pay for our services. Whether you’re booking a small repair or a large renovation, we offer multiple payment options to suit your needs.

This guide will walk you through our preferred payment methods, timelines, and what to do if you have any questions.

The Easiest Way to Pay: Card Payment with Our Engineers

We know convenience matters. That’s why most of our engineers carry portable card machines, allowing you to pay instantly with your debit or credit card as soon as the job is complete.

Why is this our preferred payment method?
Quick & Easy – No need to log into your bank or handle cash.
Secure – All transactions are processed safely and encrypted.
Instant Confirmation – No waiting for payments to clear.

Simply tap or insert your card when the job is done, and you’re good to go!

Other Payment Methods We Accept

While card payments with our engineers are the easiest and most preferred method, we also accept:

  1. Bank Transfer (BACS) (Our Second Preferred Method)
  • Our bank details are listed on your invoice.
  • Please use your invoice number as a reference to avoid delays.
  • Payment must be made within the agreed timeframe.
  1. Cheque
  • We do accept cheques under £2000 but note that your payment must clear before the job is officially considered paid.

When Do You Need to Pay?

For Smaller Jobs (£1000 or less)

  • Full payment is due upon completion.
  • The best way to pay is by card directly to our engineer.

For Larger Projects (£1000+)

  • A deposit will be required before work begins.
  • Staged payments may be arranged for bigger projects.
  • The final balance is due once the job is completed.

What Happens If You Miss a Payment?

We get it—sometimes life gets in the way. However, to keep things running smoothly, here’s what you need to know:

  • Payments not received by the invoice due date may incur interest at 4% over the base lending rate of Barclays Bank (as outlined in our Terms & Conditions).
  • Persistent non-payment may result in legal action, so if you’re experiencing difficulties, please contact us as soon as possible.
